spring: paint, pc, or sumthin new??

i have a set of works, and the spring have some surface rust on them, i have a sandblast cabinet, but when i sand blast them wat do you recommend i put on them, i know pc will work, but i have a new idea. the rubber/plastic covering they put on the grips of tools would be pretty trick. it would be thick and durable. wat do yall think??????? the only problem i c is the thickness preventing the spring from compressing all the way and maybe loose 1/4 inch of total travel, but i dont know.

sounds good to me but you would prolly loose some travel for sure.

damn man, that nice, how much did that run ya if u dont mind me asking. i am not worried about colors because i have shockwears, but that is nice. thanks everyone
