i got the dg alloy series for my 300ex, you should be fine with the fat ones, just make sure to paint the mounts before installiung them so they dont rust

get banshee propegs, someone was able to mod them to fit the 300ex

i got ac and they look great

id go acs definately. dgs rust to friggin much wether or not you paint them. i had a set and painted them around the connecting poitns and after about 2 months of riding(mostly xc type riding) i took em off painted em and sold em. cant wait to get my acs

it would be hard for the nerf part on the fat series, and on mine to rust, because they are made out of aluminum , which can not rust. just have the mounts pc'ed or paint them withg some krylon and you will be set. i like how the dg's go behing=d the foot peg akiitle also , because it has saved my leg amany times, ac's are just in front.

ac all the way. a buddy of mine bought the ac nerf bars for his 300 and he likes them better than my ac propegs for my kfx.
