I have a lot of trouble finding used lt250r stuff, 1985-1986. Does anyone know a good place to go to find parts I am not looking for anything imparticular right now and also what about find all the nice little dress up items they sell for the other kinds of quads. Now that I think about it I do need front plastics and maybe a whole set I would like to buy used but they have to be in good shape and if I buy just fronts I want shiny yellow racecut and if I buy a whole set I would like shiny black with racecut front I also need a shiny black hood and cap. I would also like to find a parts quad or motor, 85-86 LT250R. I live in Oklahoma and would love to find other lt owners it doesn't seem like there are many of us out there, but we can smoke a lot of the other quads. Thanks.

ebay is a great place to find stuff. I got a strait and freshly PC'd stem for 40 bucks.:D
this place sells alot of Lt stuff too. If your handy with a welder, i highly recommend the 85 to 87+ upper shock mout bracket they sell! I did it to my buddies. Besides, if you haven't yet, you need to gusset/brace that upper shock mount

I am interested in almost any lt part I can get my hands on that will fit an 85-86. I am really interested in a spare motor and cylinder also I am looking for some plastics either front race cut shiny yellow or a full set of shiny black with race cut front. I also need a hood and cap preferably shiny black all plastic must be in good shape with no fading. I would also be interested in some aluminum front wheels 4 lug for the lt 85-86. I have two of these bikes so I would like to have several parts also I would be interested in a back shock with the rezzy. Thanks.

To the other post what do I need to do to the front shocks? I have an 85 and an 86 model Thanks.

well, if you do the conversion bracket, you would need a set of 87+ shocks.

To bad you are in canada would you sell some parts and have them shipped? Small parts of course. Man I would love to have all of them. Thanks.

What kind of brackets do I need and I should be able to get a set of 87 shocks off of ebay if I need to. Thanks.
