I wouldn't. I would wait and use the K&N cleaner and oil.

Since someone started a K&N thread - I picked up a can of pj1 filter oil, anbody using this? It specifically says for parchment(paper) filters or something like that - which can only mean K&N.

I would wait on the K&N cleaner. I have a K&N filter and use the K&N cleaner and oil and it does wonders:D! I highly recommend you wait.

I use 409 on my K&N, and it works fine for nearly 3 years. All the K&N cleaner is a degreaser, which is what 409 is. However, I do use the K&N filter oil. I have not found anything that matches that.
