250R XC racers/ riders what air box set-up??

I recently purchased a LRD 300 cylinder for my R and I am thinking about removing the lid to the airbox to help feed the larger bore! What are you XC racers/riders using to keep trash out of the airbox. Please post pics if possible! TIA MIKE :uhoh:

get some home ac filter like for heat pumps and sutch and cut it square where it fits over the frame rails the cut the center out then spray it down with air filter oil. by the way did you race the mideast race the other week at I-81 speedway park

keep it closed! you will not regret it when you pass others in your class b/c they sucked water in a mudhole, then power difference isnt worth the reliability
