Im gunna be getting aftermarket shocks soon, and my friend has an 89 LT who's stock shocks are blown, well i told em id sell him the stockers, i just dont think they will bolt up. and if they do the quad is gunna sit hella high in the air.

If yo guys are buddies and live close to each other, let him borrow them to se if they will work.

NO, it won't work. I have already tried this. Actually, here's what happened. I customized an 85 model with an upper shock mound that turned it into an 87+ shock set up. I tried putting my 400 shocks on there, but it DIDN'T work. Yes, the shock will fit, but it make the arms fully extended. Even when you sit on it, it doesn't squat at all. Plus, the bolt holes have to be gound down.
