2004 400ex vs. 2004 Z400

It looks like Honda pulled it out once again the new and improved 2004 400ex has a 38mm carb and headwork and other stuff in 2003 the carb was 35.5. i think the new 400-ex would rip a z up.. wat do you think?

I saw that on their website too... I thought my 01' had a 38mm.

What do I know. But I think one is a misprint.

what type of head work are we talking about? at least they saw what was happening to the 400ex.

i'm willing to bet honda is using the whole top end off the xr on the ex i dont think it's anything new from what i've always been told the xr head was a little more free flowing and has a little more aggresive cam then the ex cause when they developed the ex they detuned the xr motor:huh so i would imagine honda is now using the 38mm carb the xr head and cam but hey i could be completly wrong, cause i'm just assuming here :confused2
