hey what do all you guys use to travel with your quads? trailor back of truck closed trailor? lets see some pics and how much did they cost.

i got a trailor that is for snowmobiles it holds two. pretty good it has sliders for the front skis and the tires go right in then you lock them in. hard to explain then a couple ratchet straps.

A 12x5 Trailer with chrome wheels gets our 2 machines around. It's towed by a 2000 red Chevy S-10 ZR2 with the works. Has the rear bed cover and a carpeted bed, 3rd door, 31 inch tires and a 4.3 liter V6 breathing through a K&N filter. That thing is the chit. My mom hit a deer in it though so we are piecin' it back together. Now we can't go ridin til it's fixed.

Of course, there is the '90 Mustang GT with the 5.0 fuel injected V8 and Flowmaster headers when you feel like burnin' some rubber.:D

It just depends... I have a horse trailor that will fit 2 quads side by side, with room for a rack on top of them for another 2 quads all enclosed, a 8'x4' trailor, a 8'x16' trailor (I'd guess about 6 quads on it) and a 8'x16' truck bed (plus 8'x6' tool box that quads could be parked on top of) I will get pics when my scanner is fixed :D.

why do u have such a lrge trailor for one quad

416exmx
07-01-2003, 04:30 PM
thanks, there are usually three quads that go in that trailer a 400ex 250r 300ex. we have most quad classes covered and never have to worry about beating each other. I wanted to have a trailer big enough and no worrys.

This is the trailer I built this spring. It's a converted boat trailer. The ramp slides along the side to access each position. It holds three machines and cost $600 to build.
