I just picked up a LRD 300 big bore for my 250R. Can someone put me in the ball park on the jetting. Here are my mods:
LRD 300 big bore on 89 engine
ESR TR6 pipe/silencer
Rad Valve with spacer
36mm TMX carb
Stock Air box, foam filter, with lid on.
TIA Mike

Best thing to do is call LRD and ask them where to start.

I called earlier today and talked to some guy (Not Arlan). He said that LRD doesn't use TMX carbs and they don't have jetting specs for them:( Surely someone is running a setup close to this:ermm:

You can try ESR, maybe they can help you out. They sell the TMX carb.

I called ESR and they told me that my jetting should not change!! If it did it would only be 1 size larger on the main:huh
Does this sound right??:( I am going from a stock, unported cylinder to a fully ported 300!

2 sizes larger on the main, do plug chops at various throttle positions...
