I just installed the powroll 329 piston, new valves, and cam, with all new gaskets. I was wondering what kind of breakin period i should give the piston before i can just start beating on it. I usually ride hard, but i dont want to mess up this top end, after all the money i put in it. thanks

well, you really don't break in the piston, what you do is break in the cam and pistion rings, also, you seat the valves too, i would do a search on this (in these forums). There has been very many threads on break in, and many people say to take it easy and some people say to "beat" on it from the start, i would go in between. anyway search under "break in" or something of the sort;)

also tell us the power increase once you get it broke in and stuff, but also you only really need to break it in for the first 1 or 2 tanks of gas
