I soaked them Aero Kroil (anti-sieze spray) and then put the rod in a vice. Wrap the rod in something so the vice doesn't chew up the rods.

i put em in a vice(sp) so it was holding the nut and then turned the end

take 2 open end wrenchs....put one on the tie rod and the other on the tie rod end, have it so one is on the ground, and you put all your weight on the wrench....kinda hard to explain, works great though

finally got it off the other day just put one end of the tie rod in the steering stem. And the other end got a wrench on there and kicked the sh%t out of the the tie rod (while i was holding on to the wrench) and they finally came off

Where do you get your supply? When I worked at our local airport, I used to get this stuff from the mechanics when they ordered some. I havent worked there in 4 years, so my supply has diminished...best damn spray lube I've ever used!!

I have a buddy who gets it for me, I've never seen it on a shelf. If he can get me another can by H/M I'll bring you one. It's definately the best penetrating stuff I've ever used.
