To the best of my knnowledge a hare scramble is the stlyle of racing. GNCC is a hare scramble series. GNCC promotes hare s's through racer productions. A GNCC is a hare scramble just as is a Mid South Winter series race (msws.org). Hope that jargin makes sense.
GNCC is a national leveled race.
Harescrambles are normally on one particular AMA district or geographical area on a map. Not as large as a GNCC and normally lot as long of a race either.

The GNCC is the like the Nascar Series, the National Harescramble Series is like the Busch Series, and most smaller Harescramble series are like your local speedway.
