FLAT TRACK RACING in Butler, Pa

On July 3rd at the fair. Anyone going? Anyone racing? Track is a big dirt oval. Was there two years ago to watch a blue 400ex dominate over Quadracer 500's and Raptors.

A good friend of mine is going to race his Raptor up there. I was there to spectate about 2 years ago, and was amazed at the speed those guys can run there. I believe YZEATER when he says about gearing up for that race. You could put on the tallest gearing you can find and run it there I bet. :cool:

for those of you that don't know the track is a 1/2 mile long. i was up there last night for the demolition derby and decided i have to go. i'll be working on setting my R up for it.

They show racing to start at 8pm, I think registration opens at 5pm.:)

racing starts at 8 pm. they start the kids earlier tho, and practice is right after the kids. i'm gonna be there by like 5 or so. i don't think nerf bars are mandatory. there are all kinds of classes from stock to open in all engine sizes. they mostly just split it up for displacement. last year we only ran 3 laps, and that was it. so just sighn up for as many classes as you can. look me up, i'll be on #24 250r.

i brought my paper to work today. youth racing starts at 5:30, with amatuer practice and racing following. expert clases 100% payback 1 per 4 riders.

They had a great turnout for the race as the racing went on till around midnight just running a finals only program. The pits were packed!:cool:

That R with the esr whale pipe is my buddies. It bored and stroke to a 350. There was another are with him that was out to a 370.
