a nother story. kid life flight

this kid i go riding with has a 2003 400ex yellow not even broken in yet. he was doing a jump and and he landed wrong and his ancle bone went threw his foot then shattered. i bet it hurt. he had to get life flighted and it costed like 6000 or 7000 for the ride. now he needs to sell his quad to pay for it. it kinda sucks

why would you need to be life flighted just for a brokan bone.:confused: I'm guessing if he had or does have insurence it would cover it?

exactly.... a broken bone is nothing for life flight.. id get in my truck and drive my arse to the hospital... screw 7000 dollars for a helicopter ride...

it doesnt sound like a clean break so they were probley worried about things like pinched nerves would be a good reason to get air lifted, unless u would want your foot amputated:confused:
