its prob not as fast as your 400s motor just feels that way because its lighter you could try it tho might be cool, what model bike is it

no this thing rips in frist second and third gear. we dont know it has all metel gastank and fenders. primer. its really light tho. its a suzuki i know that much. i think i will beat the 400. mine is in 3rd when that is in 2nd pinned both. it probly has 5 or 6 gears. its his first bike hes kinda on the poor side but hes a really cool kid. its a nice bike for being a 85 or so. it has the same motor setup as the 250 where the compression release is and it activated when you kick it. the motor looks like a new motor tho. its a really nice motor. it has one of those seets that are like long and completly flat. but its quick. i didnt ride it yet either.

In 1983 and 1984, Suzuki made a RM500 with the same engine as the zilla! Go pick up one of those death machines.:D

here it is take the engine out of one of these if you can find one:rolleyes: or just find a zilla in real crappy condition cosmetically

The bike is probably an 81'-83' DR500. If so, it's a 5 speed capable of about 80MPH in a bike frame. Motor for motor it is probably heavier than the 400EX, and not too much more power. I would do some simple mods to your 400 like an air filter, pipe, and silencer before you go swapping engines.

we were thinking about puttin it in a suzuki quadsport frame. think she would rip or just rip its self apart? it probly rattle its self apart like the zilla does. well its not even mine its up to the kid what he wants to do.

Wheelbase: 1470 mm (57.9 in)
Ground Clearance: 270 mm (10.6 in.)
