Heres our weekend...
First of we were in a 98 Grand Cherokee with a &7" rockcrawler long arm lift with 35" MTRs. We had a High Pinion Dana 30 with reverse cut gears in the front with a ford 8.8 in the rear..both were locked and had 4.54s. He also installed a HD wrangler transfer case.
I do not own any of these vechicles, so i can really tell you much abut them except that.
We ran a 4 and 2 3s levels..anyways, here are the pics
Gotta show the RTI.. , which i think scored somewhere around 62

By chance, do you remeber you RTI score?
I was really suprised when the Tjs got stuck in this rut/hillclimb
http://comp.uark.edu/~jsatter/Jeep/036.jpg

Of course we had dual lockers and they had none and only rear in the other but it would matter much anyways huh? :blah:

We definatley had problems with the long wheelbase..compared to those TJs..they could just turn it full lock and go around the turns where us in the Zj would have to stop put it in reverse and go..of course having a fully locked front most of the time prolly makes a huge difference.
One problem thoguh..in the front the locker owuld continusely disengange and engauge..and it sounded like a bunch of rachet straps but louder..i know its supposed to do that but not as bad as it was..he had to drive back to favitiville tonight and i think he was going to change the oil..prolly all silver oil now..lol

don't know my score put heres the pic of the ramp. The Tj's must have been opened on the front and rear.
But man I would love to have a grand with the super charger as a tow hauler.

300exTJ..you abosoluyately right..One were open front and rear and one was locked only in the rear.
Krazykid..it all depends what you do. If rockcrawling is one of them, dont really bother with a bronco..WAY too big..too long and too wide

broncos are good for everything but rock crawling

We werent even Rock crawling really..We were just on a self made trail..we had trouble with the grand on there..i would hate to see a bronco do down there:confused2

A bronco will do that stuff

TheRedRebel17

ist not the matter on if it will made it..its the matter with the width and length
I can guartee that if the bronco went up and down on the same trails as us:
1. Major body dammage
2. A roll over

There are pros and cons for every truck or Jeep. But I have to give it up to the Jeeps man. More pros with less cons than a Bronco.

I guess the only way to really tell is if we play follow the leader.

J/P

But Jeeps rock man
