how do you install a hood on stock 400ex plastic ???

im assuming you just cut that middle piece and fit it on there or somethng but im not really for sure..

what kind of hood is it? i have stock plastic and i had to cut a big hole in the middle of the fronts to get mine on right, and of course u need to chop the headlights off also!!

i dont have one but i think it would be easier to just put it on first and then cut the hole out. correct me if im wrong but wouldnt that be easier?

when u first put the hood on it gets in the way of the plastic, almost like a teeter-totter. b/c the scoop part like on my gors down, so u sorda have to guess on where to cut the hole, it doesnt really matter how big it is, just as long as u leave like a half an inch or so of plastic for strength so the plastic isnt all flimsey!!
