What is a good set of riding gloves under $25-30? Right now I have some ragged out Thor Phase 3.0 that I got over a year ago. I need gloves really bad and I can't ever decide on any. All the ones that appear "good" are in the $40-45 range. Anybody have any suggestions?

I've had thor, shift, and fox. All seemed to be the same if you ask me.

I always buy fox, and the dirt paws are really good if you ask me, but you wouln't ave to twist my arm to much to wear something different though.

Mechanix Wear;) $28 off the tool truck and will outlast the average riding glove by at least three months.

I got Fox Pawtector gloves as a leftover last years model from Rocky mountian atv. They are awesome, and because I got last years they were under $30 I think.

A decade of riding and you still haven't found any gloves you like? I always liked the Thor Phase gloves, I also like the Shift squadron or strike gloves for cheap gloves. I will wear almost any glove as long as it fits good.

Mechaics gloves. plain jane mechanics gloves are 20 bucks and last awhile. I get a season or two out of them usually.

Hahaha basically took the words out of my mouth. If your still looking to replace your gloves from 2003 then I would replace them with what ya had. Im another mechanics glove convert. Ive wore holes in riding gloves within 2 rides before. I cant wear a paor of mechanics gloves out!!

I wear Fox Bomber gloves (street bike gloves when just play/trail riding and Fox Dirt Paws when racing. Love both of them, though lately the bombers and have ben cutting into my knuckles when riding aggressively. I haven't worn them when riding, but I wear a pair of Mechanix Material 4X gloves at work and they are very nice for $20-$25 I think. Comfortable, breathe great and they are very tough. I work in a steel foundry where I'm always handling hot or warm metal and getting things caught on them that would normally rip another glove, but these barely even pull the fabric apart. They're definitely worth the price.
