Well I gots a 39mm carb and well my engine is a 330 witha 350 crank so it sets up 1/4 inch higher than normally, but I dont have stock storkal, I have a rubber tube that goes to a medal one that connects to my filter but now I need to get a new rubber tube , but then I think I would have to get a bigget airfilter to hook onto the bigger tube, so I dont know what to do!:(

Is there somewhere I can get a aftermarket snorkal that wil fit a 39mm? What do you guys do when you get a bigger carb? Thanks!;)

I have heard that you can use a 350x rubber intake tube

I got a 38mm, and I just muscled mine on. The rubber should stretch a bit. It would probably help to dip the end of it into boiling water, to soften the rubber. Just make sure you dry it before you install it, you don't want any water getting into your carb.

It took me a good 20 mins. to muscle it on...

Ya thats what sucks I dont have a stock intake, I have a Radiatot tube from Napa! I can get a bigger tube but then Ill need a bigger air cleaner, maybe. Im shure I can figure sumthin out... I might just have to pick up a stock storkel and air box, thats what I really need to do!!!

O yea and my engine sits 1/4 inch higer than most r's so that will add to the diffeculty!:(

Call up Service Honda and buy one and do like Wilken said heat it up and it will expand to fit. Their only like $20. If you don't want to run an airbox then call up ESR and buy their airbox eliminator kit.

I have an airbox elimanator kit on mine (I don't know what brand) but it uses the stock air boot. I obviously don't have the same filter setup that you do, so it's difficult to help.

1/4 inch shouldn't make much difference, it's only a 1/4 inch. I know I had at least that much clearance on mine. If it was 2 inches, then you might have a small problem, but 1/4 inch shouldn't make much difference.
