I need a new one, the stock one is anoughing. What makes 1 clutch perch better than another and what are your favorite ones

a better one will have an easier pull. just pick up a PEP for 30 or a MSR Raptor.

don't get a magnum, they are junk. I like my MSR because the lever is slightly larger than a stock one. easier to grab I guess.

When I put it on, I thought it was garbage, then I rolled my quad and I broke it the first time out. Sure glad I did it, because the MSR is much better.

last sunday i was just doing soe practice starts out at the track, get to the first turn and my lever starts floppin around. The lever broke right where the cable hooks in. Lucky for me a fellow exrider lent me his so i could break my wrist in the second moto. Im gonna sell the msr perch to my bro and buy a pep lever and perch:blah:

i just bought a magnum ez-pull clutch....are they alot easier to pull than the stock one? how hard are they to install? I heard they break easy....is it true? I paid $25.00 for it shipped.

I run a RTC easy adjust lever. Most people don't set their PEP's up right and that's what causes them to snap and fray cables.

MSR Dominator, XR400 pull. This lever is great on the EX. It is well built, has the Teflon ring so it will turn in a crash, and it is cheap. I got both the lever and perch for $18, and that was from a local dealer. Whatever you get make sure to put Teflon tape around the bar so it will rotate in a crash.

The Raptor pearch breaks cables. My buddy road for less than 3 hours befor his cable broke. somehow this lever chafes the cable at the lever.

I believe the ASV clutch runs you about $90 (what my local shop sells them for at least).

I just got the MSR Dominator lever and perch for a CR ($16 at local shop) and I also bought one of those little lube tools for the cable. WHAT A DIFFERNECE compared to stock. This is not "technically" an EZ pull lever but it is easier and levers for CR's are abundant when needed!

i bought the ASV about 4 months ago and returned it to my local shop about a week later cuz it sucked, it made the clutch pull harder and didnt do much when i rolled it and then i bought an Applied racing star adjust lever, i love the thing so much and im so glad i bought it
