Has anyone ever put a dirt bike engine in a 300ex? I have a 300ex frame and was thinking of a project quad to mess around with and was just wondering if any of you guys did this?

i've heard a lot of people say that it would cause to much vibration. i've thought about it but never done it. i just bought a 350x engine off ebay for $277. they bolt right up and suppose to be fast. u might wanna try the 350x

yeah i was thinking of a 350x engine but im not sure i want to buy one because of reliabilty problems. How much did you get yours off ebay for? Maybe for the right price itd be worth it.

350x motors are very reliable and just go to ebay and search for one.

theres one on the now with a couple of days left..looks brand new..i say it'll sell for 500-600..that would be an awesome buy..the one i bought needs a new cam..i gave 277 for it and im sure i can get a cam for atleast 50 so i think i got a good deal

a 350x is a good idea but email me if ur going to do it cause its kinda tricky lol
