CR500 clutch springs?

i've noticed that some of the pro racers use CR500 clutch springs in their 250r's. what is the advantage of using them verses not using them?

it keeps it from slipping if there is enough power in the motor.. also good for making your clutch fingers and hand F*ing sore.. lol

HAHA YEAH!! Definitely helps the clutch last a lil longer, but kills your hands, lmao.

get a magura cuz the pull will be a lot stiffer

im not a hundred percent sure.. but the springs from my esr clutch kit seem pretty D*mned beefy.. anyone else know if these are close to Cr500 spring thickness? they just dont even seem near as soft as most others lol..

i really need to order that replacement perch for my Pep.. i just been lazy to do it:rolleyes:

im kinda getting used to the 2 finger set up im borrowing from my friends banshee.. but i have to use almost 3-4 fingers to keep it held so defeats the purpose..:grr:

I had some clutch problems with my pv 350 so I thought I would chime in here.

cr500 springs are designed to have 6 springs not five so they are a little ligher then the esr.

I don't recoment the magura although I have one for sale:rolleyes:

Not enought throw and an rtc actually has easier pull when a new stock cable is in use.

I have had magura, raptor ez pull and RTC. I recomend the rtc for 25 percent of the cost, it is a more reliable set up and easier pull.

I now use the cr 500 springs, if they don't hold I will use the barnett or esr.
