im thinking of selling it like it is or parting it out b/c nothing is going right with it anymore and its just making me angry!!!!!!!

i just got my crap back from the pc'er and i got it on, but not all the way!! motor mounts arent lining up rim wont go on the hub, b/c i think there is a bent stud and theres so much other stuff that takes money i dont have adn u feel like it never ends and im gunna be living in a box pretty soon, the quad looks good but it needs so much work still, i need to pay for my shocks, get a new clutch and still get all the little stuff paid for 2!!!

idk what to do yet, what do u guys think!!

its a nice quad, but you'll prolly be kicking your *** after you sell it, thats what you get with project bikes, you go through that stuff to get it together, and then you can say i built this. the little things that go wrong all adds up to being annoying but in the end its worth it, i dont think you should sell it.

i think im just gunna load it up in the truck and drive off a cliff, haha no, im gunna load it up in the truck and take it to baldwin and tell him to do everything he needs to it untill its runs good and everything works, then pay off the bill over the next few months of so!!
my quad will just stay at his shop untill i get enough money to pay for it all!!

its a nice quad but if you plan on selling and buying another quad I think your better off keeping the one you got. Honestly though I think you woulda been better off instead of going with the 416 and other stuff if you did the relibility stuff first.

yeah just take your time, and do it when you can. It took me a year or more to put together a 250R, and you wanna talk about crap not lining up.......

I bought the rolling chassis only to find out the guy cut the middle out of it, and "re-did" it for a big stroker 4-stroke motor, and he dropped the lower frame rails like 4 inches, and then extended the frame a couple too. Luckily he did a poor job, and he left the top motor mount holes in place so I had something to line the 250R motor up with. I basically remanufactured 1/2 of a 250R frame, and the swing arm. Took me a whole year to buy and peice together this quad, but now that it's done it's a nice bike and was well worth the effort so I can say"...yeah I built it"

Keep the bike and build like you want it.

i think you need to loosen up all your motor mount bolts and reposition your engine to get it all lined up.

if one of your studs is bent, you can usually tell cuz the threads are prolly messed up, just try screwing your lug nuts on them and see if they go on easy. :)

my quad has been apart since august... and its still not how i want it to be. it seems like it never ends. every cent of money i make goes into the quad... i have thought about selling it or parting it out, but finally came to my senses, i put too much money and time into it... i bascally put blood, sweat, and tears (not really) into this damn quad... its all worth it in the end...
:D

Glad you chilled and got it all bolted up, and those look like some expensive shocks. you ever think of listing them on Ebay? would be a laugh.

And think of your quad as a woman and you will understand it better and not get so stressed out. Its just never going to be without needing something and you will be spending money on it till the end. :D
