AC Nerfs not Fitting!

This was already posted by Jwisniew in another forum but here it is again.. Ive got a 250ex and the nerfs will NOT fit. I need some help well we both do its driving us nuts!

This is the gap when the nerf bar mount is on the outside of the frame it is a little closer when its on the inside

Wow thats weird i think my friends 400ex did the same thing but not that far his was like 1/2 inch so he just put some spacers in there, but I dunno what to tell ya..?:confused2

Here is the inside of the frame which is the other way to mount but the bolts are not long enough to go through the large hole and into the nerf?

Here is the peg..there are two holes on the nerf bars so will i have to drill another hole to secure them if i get these thigns to work?

IMO their craftsmanship is the absolute worst. You prolly have to send them back or bend them. We bent a set for a 250r before. Almost all of there stuff has a hard time fitting wright IMO:ermm:

mine fit just fine after being on there, but the guy that had it before me( my freind) told me how big of a pain they were at first.

Where the nerfs slide together.. Did yours slide all completely together? Mine do not..Having trouble with AC! :confused:

J, check with Desertratt45, he works for AC. I had a problem with one of my heel guards on my 400, and he got it straigtened out for me.

I had to "stretch" mine to get them to fit. You need to take off the webbing and try to stretch them into the peg. That will help. you should put the webbing on as the last step. Good luck.

Yeah mine were about and inch away so I got a longer bolt and tightened it up to pull them in:devil: Then stuck the bolt in:blah:

imo dont buy stuff from ac there good put there $h!t never fits

all my AC stuff fits fine i didnt have any trouble with my nerfs or my bumper
