anyone have this done? my grandfather told me that he had my dads sled motor done with chromed cylinders and he said it gives some wicked power. he said tho its very risky to run your motor to lean cause you can get it to hot and peel the chrome off. but he says it was so smooth that it gave him some wicked compression and alot less resistance. . im just wondering if any has had this done to their cylinder?

im pretty sure that wont work for a number of reasons... however i was looking around and HP coatings has a coating for cylinders and pistons. when i re-do my motor i am going to look into it
