My brother was jumping his 300ex, then he bent his axle. He was wondering what axle he should get, hopefully with a cheap price. He got a durablue priced out for $580 canadian, thats a little much for him. Does it cost much more for a +1? His quad is almost completely stock.

Get another stock one used - IMO. That's a lot of money to put into a 300.

Isnt that like 290 US ? I would go with a cheap one off of ebay or a stocker. I got a Lonestar for under 100 US off of ebay and it was straight.

If he bent a stock one he can break a durablue. I've had nothing but troubles with them.

lsr or rpm is the way to go... i chose lsr becuase they were a little cheapier and i needed some tires and rims...

deffently ebay...
or for a new one call splash n dirt from Montreal Quebec and he will sell you a brand new lsr axle for 600 canadian(400ex tho, may be cheapier) rpm are 700, but they went up so i don't know how much they are now....

My brother wanted to know if he could just heat it up then bend it back into place? He also wanted to know if it would make it not as strong as it was befor?

well durablue does there axles different now then they did in the past years! now they harden them to quick and then they put that chroming on it which makes it weaker. atleast thats just what i herd

I highly recommend an aftermarket axle over a new stock axle if he is going to continue jumping with it!

I feel I have abused my 300ex with my fat butt... But my RPM Dominator axle still looks great and is straight after years of my abuse!

Note: If you get an aftermarket axle, most likely it will be adjustable. That way you can make it plus 1", 2", or maybe even 3".
