Nerfs w/ Heel Guards?

The people who have put nerfs on a quad here with stock heel guards is there a need to leave them on or should u just take them off when you put on nerfs. I have a 250ex so it may be different then 300s and 400s.

i was thinking about puttin my stock heal gards back on mine.. i put nerfs on it last month.. but theres a good size hole there with out the gards.. im afraid my wifes lil foot might get caught in there or something... still contimplating

There's no need, unless your foot is getting caught or falling through without them.
