I recently purchased a Pro Circuit T-4 Silencer. When I installed it, however, I realized that the stock clamp doesn't fiton the connection between the T-4 pipe and the header pipe. Please tell me how other 250ex owners have solved this problem. Thanx in advance.

It's a friction fit, no clamp needed. The tolerance is very tight so it shouldn't leak. You can apply a little high-temp silicone to the head pipe joint before installing. Let cure overnight before testing.

If the rear bolt hole does not align dremmel out both the front and rear holes down on the front, up on the rear. Push the pipe as far toward the motor as possible to get a good seal.

Maybe the new pipes align, the old T-4 never did and a lot of guys left the rear mount screw out.
