Oil Change

Im going to change the oil in my 300 EX can anyone tell me how much I am going to need, and I am also changing the filter too.

It's a 2000 model if that makes a difference.

I think you will need about 1 to 2 quarts. I usaully put in about 1 and half qts in mine and haven't have any problems.

Questions like how much oil should go in a quad or how to jet the carb get doesn't add value to the site. Don't you think we get bored with all the people that the same questions all the time? We expect a certain amount of effort from the quad rider. I assume you don't have a manual. Go pour 1 qt in, check the level. Add a little more till its close to being full. Run quad till it gets warm again. Top off oil. Should be around 2 qts.

use gn-4 10w-40 1.69 US quarts
