well i got my hotcams put in by the dealer, and he said that he didnt even need to change the shims? and he charged me 230?

this sounds kinda funny to me>?

BTW this is on a z400

seems to me EVERYTHING for quads is OVERLY HIGH priced..... so IMO I think that is a bit steep.. me and my dad usually work on the quad ourselves and just have to pay for parts to help keep costs down

check around for prices of what other people charge...but that does seem like alot

Is that labor charge only? How long did it take him? Did he install hardened rockers too?

(I Think) DOHC do not use rockers.


Anyways, that does seem very expensive.
