I'll get some digital pix next time I'm up there. The hillclimbs arn't really that steep. The things that make it challenging is that there are huge whoops halfway up the hill and then its all loose coal getting up. I made it up 3 outa 6 trys on a VERY wet day. I saw a few quadzilla's and raptors not make it. Alot depends on your tires and skill!

When it's wet those hills are tough because it's like trying to climb up a slush mound. When it's dry they are not bad at all. There are other hillclimbs other than the obvious ones that everyone goes to you have to explore and find them.

Then you need to go to Shenandoah. They have tons of climbs, they are steep and hard to make up. :D Its such a cool place, you can climb all day.

I'm not sure. Probably not. I've been there 2 times and we've never been botherd. There are lots of quads out on a nice day. And I've seen quads going down the road and no one seems to care as long as your respectable and not flying around dangerously. :ermm: Its a cool place to ride though....

Also I think alot of the riders are locals. But I park at the fire station.

Looks like you guys and gals missed the beach last weekend :) Was too damn hot around here to ride for more than a few minutes and the quad was complaining more than the rider for a change :D

Sorry there "toy" but lost a few days over the weekend (small binge) and therefore no call :eek:

Now since the quad hauler is up and running 100% all we need is a weekend with temps in the low 80's max and I will meet you all at carters :uhoh: :devious:

I had the honors of riding with Dave (2-R's) and his wife Regina... Great people. Dave & Regina have some of the nicest looking 250 R's... Too nice to get dirty! Thanks for all the food and beverages! (Also was entertained by their two kids, Amanda and Loren).

I saw Rich (NJ400ex) and Adam there, but we did not see them out on the trails.:(

It was a nice weekend up there. A little dusty and warm, but cool enough for Lenny!!!!:blah: I did manage to get a flat on a rear ITP tire... Surely someone will say something positive about the Maxxis Razors!!!:rolleyes: (Dave).:rolleyes:

Anyone else up there from this site??:confused:

well,..he goes ..
it was my first lap around the natural terrain track ..so I wasnt moving to fast just fast enough to check out the track ..
I came over the first lil hill for the valley near the parking lot (in flight)..as I came over there was a guy sitting at the bottom :confused: & w/no way to avoid him I hit from behind .in the rear tires ..he was tossed off the quad ...I went 1/2 way over the bars ...his axle was bent & now my rt.wrist is spraned ..
I still dont know WTF he was thinkng :(

well the truth is I was shook up pretty good ..mostly cause I hit the guy ..I was too blown away by the fact that he was just sitting directly in the way I didnt even get a chance to yell out at him ...I am glad the damage was primarily to the z400 & not him ...i will be ok sooner or later ...I really dont know if we are going to TCTRI ..between the weather & my wrist ..
