My Main Spring broke on my WORKS shocks saturday. GRRRR! that's ok I'm respringing to ZPS next week for a decent price.

I think Works need to make better springs.. thats like the 4th one I have seen do that.:rolleyes: How long have you had those, they might replace it???

Works has a 90 day warrenty. I wouldn't even bother with them though. I've had em for a full year. I'm ordering new main springs next week and a couple of zps springs as well.

Thanks to Works, I finished 6th instead of 7th. Thanks Erick, two flats kinda slowed me down.

man i haven't had one single problem with my works, and trust me i go huge on jumps around my place... 60 footer and haven't had one single problem...
must of been a bad batch or something

Mike,

Don't get cocky I'm :macho than you. I'm setting them up with ZPS springs next week, It'll ride lower and handle better. See ya after break hopefully. Who won the Holeshot awards?

exactly how are you going to get them set up for zps??

are you using pep springs or tcs?? i talk to mark @ baildwin and he said it wasn't worth it to have work shocks converted to zps...

Mikes (Knighttimes) broke in the same EXACT spot... seems to me that works might have had a bad batch of springs... :confused:

they use cheep springs. Most good shock builders use EIbach and Hyperco springs. Works however does not on there steeler series. THere pro series they use much better material. The shocks you have (steeler series) are made for rec rideing thats why they brake cause people try to motocross with them
