+4 Swingarm = handling?

I would like to hear from you guys (or gals) that have a +4 swingarm on your 400exs. Most of my riding is in the sand and the drag races are where all the bragging rights are won and lost. I have +2w +1f a-arms and want to get an extended swingarm to keep the front end planted. I also do alot of slicing around in the sand trails so I'm concerned with how much the +4 with affect the handling characteristics of the machine. Does anyone have any experience with this setup?

i don't have personal experience with it, but i can tell you what i've heard from people. The longer you make you swingarm, the longer is makes your wheelbase. The longer your wheelbase, the longer it takes you to turn.
