ill believe it i think i raced a stock v-force and those thing are one fast mofos it took every thing my shee had but it doesnt look like that is a dragrace just some fast trail riding cuz the raptor wouldnt get killed that bad

Yea, those kfx's are fast, but all I know is my friends piped shee is crazy fast. I have'nt seen a kfx700 race, but I've seen movies of them.

yea i'd expect a piped 700 to take on a piped banshee, since the raptor i heard keeps up with a banshee on top end okay, so why wouldn't a 700 v-twin beat it? oh well, i'll stick with my piped out banshee:)

I've yet to have my *** handed to me on my Banshee by either one.:rolleyes: A few craptors spooked me a few times, but shee prevailed. Of course, none, including mine, were setup for drag racing.

alright my cousin has the v-force still stock. we raced a 2003 banshee with t-5 pipes cool head k&n filter and v-force reeds. and there was a stock raptor. i was on the back of the v-force. and we dragged the banshee and the raptor and we put it to shame it was actually funny when we raced beat it by at least a 5 quad lenths.(sp) it was in a little bit of soft. kinda like sand. the banshee has relotors.(sp) and his excuse was he was spinning too much. haahah i dont think so. ill get some pics of them racing next time. there is another kid with a banshee it has tci drag pipes. the k&n clamp on carb without airbox thing. v-force reeds and gator tires. and this thing rips. never raced it yet. soon. ill get back on you on that one. oh and here is a pic of the v-force.

For starters , there is not a prodution bike on this planet that will run with a banshee if the bikes two are matched mod for mod. I knew that going in when I bought my V on 5-26-04 . We went to Haspin Acres the following week end were they have a dirt drag and this is what I found. My V all stock , as I expected ; dosen't hold a candle to a piped banshee. The V all stock , will hold it's own with piped Raptors ; it pretty much came down to who got the better launch. The one and only stock DS that I raced needs to be piped in a bad way. Any way , if all you want is to be the fastest at the drag stip then Banshee is the only way to go. If you spend as much time trail ride'n with your wife and your 6yr old as you do at the drag strip than you will not find a better bike than the V.

Well, as far as racing at Haspin, I wouldnt trust anything I saw there, the dragstrip sucks, its like racing on ice. Ive seen V-forces beat banshees and Raptors, and Ive beat Banshees and V-Forces on my Rap. Its all in how many mods each quad has.
i ride a raptor and my friend rides a banshee and my dad rides a v force but my raptor has a yoshimura full exhaust K&N air filter dyno jets ims front bumper o3 plastic dmp graphics kit skat trak edge paddle tires on light weight rims +2 dura blue wheel spacer
my friends banshe has toomey t-6 full exhaust K&N air filter ims front bumper gecko paddle tires on stock rims boost bottle reed spacer boyson reeds and jets my dads V force K&N air filter with sand star paddle tires and when we race on the drag my raptor is in front most of the time it goes the raptor banshee and not far behindis the v force but going up a dune it goes banshee raptor or v force

have any of you guys actually rode with a v force.i have not seen a v force beat anything yet except a 400ex,i can actually play with them on my r and pass it anytime i want to.they are way to heavy,almost 200lbs to heavy,loose so much power by using a belt drive.i ride with a variety of everything every weekend dont get me wrong i like the v force loads of torque great trail bike but raptors will blow by it and a banshee to.it would be a diffrent story if you were racing on a mud track or wet grounds i think the v force would win in that case.

I race my force in local xc races ( i love it) and i plan to run some Gnccs but i have seen r's and 450's kill me but then some i smoke. I think it has to do with who is riding the quad and what the track is like

my three friends had each of these and with me on the shee (i weigh 150) i would beat them almost every time. they were each piped and jetted allthough the shee had a k&n that was it. the kfx would kill us both off the line tho. its just tooo heavy to take the raptor or especially the shee on top end. but since then my friend with the shee has gotten a yfz with the cam mod and an x-6 pipe and jetting and that thing hauls ***. the first time i drove it i was ideling in circles in 1st and punched it and my hands came off the bars it had soo much torque. it surprised me. the only down side to the yfz is that it doesnt have a very high top speed. but it gets there real quick.

can i ask why you put your buddies banshee in your signature? kind of misleading isn't it? The banshee's time will never be up. they keep getting faster and faster. A well tuned piped/filtered banshee will walk a raptor all day with the right rider.

stock or stock a raptor will abrely take a banshee but mod for mod the shee will rape the raptor..mine a high compression 366 and i will tell ya no one touches me except for other built 2 stroker.. 250rs and banshees are the fastest drag bikes around period.

a v force will never beat a shee but they will beat a raptor I have seen the v-forces in action they are crazy fast for what they are. I seen an old man beat a "a" rider in a drag race against a stock yfz the yfz couldnt hold a candle to the v-force. The banshee will always be the king of the dunes. But for play riding you cant beat a v-force with some minor clutch mods and a pipe they are nearly unbeatable in a straight line. I have seen several stock v forces beat modded raptors time and time again. That belt drive tranny will hook up when the rappy is spinning. Its all personal preferance what you are doing the shee is a duner and the v-force is a good all around play and duning machine. Just think if you had the FST 800 kit in the v-force that thing would be a hog. :eek2:

All I have to say on the subjuect is, the only thing that out runs this KFX700 is a 558 Predator that my buddy rides. I have raced everything over here and on flat land with equal traction I will win. The wieght of my 700 only comes into play when it comes to racing up hills and I am getting close to haveing that fixed too.

Which part? Keep in mind with my post, I am talking with similar mods. I believe that a built Banshee still kills about any bike out. The guy I ride with has a Raptor and Banshee and we are always racing that is where my info comes from.

Yeah I know, I raced a 450R on the beach the other day and I got great traction, he looked a lot like this :confused: when it was all done. I do really well when I get traction with these crappy stock tires on flat land. I am lucky ND don't have hills untill I can get some more motor thou:D Hell, I have even watched my wife with her mostly stock V (Pink Spring) take a stock Banshee last summer.

What type of racing do you want to do? The 400 is very light and nimble in the woods, but in straight line drag, you want something with a big heavy engine...

V-force=automatic.....check that one off the list
Anyways if a raptor, v-force, and banshee all had pipes k&n and proper jetting with GOOD RIDERS***** + you slapped paddles on them all and hit the sand the banshee would eat those two alive. A Two stroke responds MUCH better to pipes and intake then a four stroke im sorry but that v-force would be eating sand from the banshee. maybe even the rappy too:grr:

My friends and I had a drag race between a Raptor with a pipe, a banshee with a pipe and reeds, a stock V-force, and a piped Yfz. The V-force won, then banshee, the Yfz, then Raptor. I have rode my friends V-force and love it. Yeah its heavy but it is super fast. I would love to have one. People say that it can't jump very well either but it actually jumps very well. The V-force can climb some crazy hills to. If I had the money I would buy a V-Force over any of those quads.

Anyway, I never said my V wasn't heavy. I weigh in at 165 and the guy on the 450R was at least 250. I have no idea what if anything he had done to his bike but, mine is as modded as you can get without opening the motor. I all I can say is I beat him and he was not happy, believe what you want.

I've actually owned both and raced several times. Off the line they are real close, no joke. If you've ever ridden a vforce you'd know how well they get off the line. I can take a raptor by 2 or 3 lengths until around 4th gear. My 450 would be close off the line but walk by the vforce around 3rd to 4th gear. My vforce is all stock too.
I love how people think they are slow because they are automatic. Ever ride a snowmobile?

Nope, to be honost I have never been into bikes. They are nice and very fast but I had a close relative get paralized on one when I was younger and it just kinda always kept me away from them.

why do you have to be such a f_ck nugget. i know they aren't talking about R's. what they are talking about is banshee's and 450R's, and vforces, well i've delt with both queer bag. I deal with them DAILY. I have never seen a v force that could take on a shee or a 450R.

Whoa there tiger. Who said my R was a drag quad? Yea, you deal with em daily, big deal. What makes you think that makes you the know all master of whats faster, and why did you need to let them know how small your ego is by saying your R is faster? see so what the hell are we even talking about?!?! where are these guys riding, i've heard it all dunes, trees. there is a big difference between your quad and mine, just like there will be a big diff in a heavy *** v force vs a lighter more agile raptor. but in the drag it doesn't really matter because its not about handling. i know it seemed like i was flamin and sorry for that. all i'm tryin to do is figure out what these guys are trying to compare and what riding because what you setup is makes a whole world of diff as you well know. by the way thats a clean R you got

A 265r is not going to beat everything so I suggest you don't line up to a nicely modded 450r because you will get smoked. Here's a little tip if you keep posting like you have you will be banned very quickly.
