hey guys. i just got an e series exhaust for my 300ex, but it doesnt have any diffusers with it. anyone know where i can get these? i imagine it will be too loud for me without them, so i need some. also, are there any kind of spark arrestor option with this exhaust? thanks!

the directions say dont use less then 3 disks.... but u can run with no disks, and no solid plate. it wont hurt anything, itll just be louder, and u have more power that way anyways

no the discs that do have the hole in the center are the spark arrestor the disc that isn't cut is just there so the exhaust is forced out the cut discs, dig it

oh, well you might want to call white bros and tell them they are wrong. and i quote "Blank Disc is the spark arrestor disk, it has no openings, and is the last disc before the end cap." per white bros catalog, page 11.

while your at it could you explain exactly just how does that plate arrest a spark ;)

heck, i dont know exactly how it works. just letting ya know what white bros called it. it would be my guess that a spark would dissipate after hitting a solid surface. maybe its magic?:D

i just told you how it works the plate you are describing is nothing more than a endcap that forces the exhaust out the others which hold a certain tolerance inbetween each other that is not large enough for the sparks to exit hence the name spark arrestor ;)

You may need the WB allen bolts designed to accomodate different disc counts. Not your basic hardware store item.

thats not a bad deal actually. i already have an endcap though. so i ordered 6 discs and the blank disc, for a total of 31 bucks shipped. not too bad. thanks for the help guys.

unless you want your bike really quiet id run atleast 12 discs. thats what white brothers recommends for the most power for a stock engine. its still not too loud either.
