View Full Version : Just Got My Magnum Pro Nerfs

01-11-2002, 06:42 PM
Let me start off by stating that I never owned a set a nerfs and this is my first experance with them.I bought the magnum pro pegs nerfs from dirt-deals.com for $129.99,witch I thought was an awsome price for pro pegs. I'll begin with what i feel are some good qualities about this product first was the price. Second shipping was very quick. Third they come with hudge foot pegs they are longer, wider and extends up at the end. The pegs mount to your stock position so you dont have to readjust your riding position. Last even though there was no instructions, assembly seemed easy and every thing fit together tight. Thats the end of the good now for what i feel are some negitives. 1: they weigh about 20 LBS due to the hudge pegs. 2:The nets dont seem to go far enough to the quad frame leaving more than enough room for your foot to slip off and run your self over. 3: may be more, but red was the only color nets that I noticed it came with. 4:came with no instructions.(wastn't that hard to assemble though) 5: I doesnt look like you can use your stock heal guard with these nerfs. Over all I'm less then happy with these but i havent been able to go for a real ride to try them out so when i do i'll post.

This is Dana Creech's race bike for this year and notice the width of the pegs on it. Who knows, it could be the latest and the greatest. Use the link, the picture was too large for download. It's a bad*ss bike though.

I thought you couldn't race hybrids this season anymore? Are you sure that is Dana's new quad for this year?

Go here www.********.com and read Pro Quads Round 1. It may not be his GNC bike but he's running it for Clear Channel/SFX Races.:p
