Can the GPR Stailizers (for standard or pro taper bars) be used with the stock steering stem?

Sponsored by the Quadshop? Wouldn't those guys know your answer? I bought a PEP & Denton Dampner from 'em (plus my Elka's). The dude on the phone really seemed to know his poop.

I just figured I'd ask the forum about mounting it to a stock stem. Also, what's the benefit from an aftermarket stem?

There is no doubt fitment problems have been addressed with the use of the Roll stem/gpr combo. However, the stem is grossly overpriced!. John Arens products are known for a proven track record of fitment & quality second to none!...I trust Mr. Arens has your answer if ya need it right away..

I have no trouble from my stock stem. So that's not really on my list. I only want the stabilizer. I have a PEPS and it's ok I guess. I just done a lot of reading and I like the GPR style stablizers. I think it will be a great improvement over the cylinder style.

I have had both a pep and a GPR. And the GPR was much better I think. I am not a 100% sure since the POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! broke 5 mins into the first ride. That was in the first of march they havn't replaced the part still!!!!!!!!!!!!! so in other words I am not real happy with them!
