Do you have any problem timing action shots with that? I had a similar one and at races I'd take a pic of a quad and have a pic of empty track!:( I took it back and bought the Sony to get a dual stage button.

While this thread may seem like spam, I am glad it is here. I am in the market for a dig camara and am leaning to that kodak. I think it may have tipped me over.

I like to use a digital camera that has a still photo option. Because then you can take the photo whenever you want during watching the movie and if you screw up put it on slow and move it back slowly untill its perfect.

The pics I posted today on the "High Point" Thread were all taken with a Kodak 3.2MP camera. I since returned it for a Sony 3.2MP camera that uses a mini disk for photo storage. This is our PIT GUARD DOG. He's mean! :D(taken w/ the sony)

I haven't finalized a disk yet but yes I believe the disks can be played in the CD drive, cause they supply an adaptor of sorts.
The movies it records with audio are awesome! Expect to see some video clips posted soon from me. At last, movies with that quad sound!:D

HP PS320, 2.1 MP with video function. Nice Pics for a 2.1 and I also have a photo printer, never used it though. I think I got it in January. I don't have a memory card or anything. I don't think I need it. It holds 76 pictures. It has a 4x digital zoom, 10 second self-timer, 4 flash modes, and 3 quality modes.

I love it but it has that damn delay. I guess you can't have everything.

Go digital so you can post them on here!!! Also, I am on my 5th digital camera now, and got the Sony CD Mavica for $496 and it is a keeper. It even has a Muti burst feature to get action shots by shooting 16 shots blazing fast with one button push! Also the movies it makes with sound are awesome!

BTW, did you ever get your PIT DOG? I posted a pic of ours earlier in this thread.

Well I have a VHS-C camcorder and I almost killed it at Wilderness GNCC a couple years ago because of dust. Any VHS type would probably be tough to transfer to online usage. and I get 15min. of video per battery. I would definitly go digital, and those were like $400-900 at Walmart.
But the camera I got now will post movies via Media Player and have sound too. I don't have experiance with the digital camcorders to tell you if they are any better or not. Probably best to go to a camera shop to at least just ask questions on this.

I'm going to an MX race tonight so I'll post a sample video for ya to see.:)
