The shock/spring assembly of my 250EX is squeeking more and more. Makes a perfectly good machine sound junky. Where do I need to apply grease or oil. Can't tell if it's rubbing of spring on shock or it's the piston of shock. What is most likely cause and fix. Thanks for any help.

Pull off your shocks and grease the lower bushings.

my 250EX shocks do that when they get sand, and water in them. so i spray WD-40 on them and my a-arms and bushings and not only does it not squeak but it gives a shofter ride over all!!

mine do that 2. they squeak because they suck. you cant adjust them. they are the cheapest ones out.

I've never had that problem on a Honda, but the lakota and the mojave I had both squeaked. I just sprayed them with WD40 before I rode. I asked the dealer and he said it was normal when the bushings dry out.
