Greasing swingarm on Mini 90....?

hey guys,

when i grease everything to put in the new swingarm is it alright if i just grease the axle up? i dont have a grease gun just some multi-purpose grease.... it has to be finished today so getting a grease gun and grease is probably not possible..

will it be alright to just grease the axle?

need some quick answers guys.. have to get this finished asap...

also what about the bearings it is a stock replacement axle..

actually looking at it now.. im realising the housing for the bearings is separate... so it should be greased already then. just going to grease the axle up good...
