Oil Seal

Alright guys i got a xr80r dirtbike (i know its not a ex but its a honda) well the oil seal that the shifter shaft goes through is leaking. So i ordered one so do i need to take the crank case off to put it on or can i do it with the case on the bike?

I believe you will need to take that side's case cover off, but I am not positive. The seal does need to be pressed in from the inside. Get a service manual or ask a local shop.
