installing kill switch

hey. i am tryin to hook up my pro design kill/ tether switch to my quad. i know that the short wire goes to a ground on the quad, but i am confused about where the long wire goes.. can anyone help

I don't like the way the FAQ does it. It is much easier if you do it off the coil.

Take off the black panel on the clutch side of the bike.
The coil is right there. Take off the coil and one of the wires already has a waterproof connection. Take it apart and splice your long wire onto that. Then take your ground and attach it to the bolt that the coil is connected too.

well i got it hooked up, but it was more work than i thought it was goin to be. the cdi box on a 250ex is beside the air box so the wire wasnt long enough so i had to take some wire off of my junk 3 wheeler and splice it onto the long wire then splice it onto the posative wire on the cdi. but it works so that is good
