is an '86 atc rear shock the same as a '86 trx rear shock? i was looking for a spare on ebay to use while mine is out getting rebuilt. or does anyone have a stock 86 shock they'd like to get rid of?

ANOTHER QUESTION. how much oil goes in a 250r shock and how many lbs of nitrogen?

I dont know if they are interchangable or not but I have a 86 (i think) shock i can sell ya. make an offer

The shocks are the same except the ATC shock has a shorter rezzy hose.

The shocks are pretty close to the same, but the ATC shock has a shorter reservoir hose and a wider bushing at the top.

but 400ex's have a cr500 style linkage type so we each get are plus's and minus;)

would the stock 250R shock be better than the stock 400ex shock? would it bolt right up?
