Has anyone here gone to Joe Byrd's riding school? I was talking to Jessy Barnes yesterday at the track and he is getting ready to go next month. He said that he went last year and Joe helped him shave 16 seconds off his lap times! :eek2:
It sounds like Joe works with all kinds of riders, from the near pro level to true beginners. Jessy really recommended it and he can't wait to get back down there to ride with him again.
Just wondering on any one else's thoughts on it.

I just got a reply from Heather. They must have some openings for the July 12-13 school. She said she could write me in if I can make it. It is a little short notice for me. The next class is in November. I might try to make that one. :)

I asked what would I expect when I showed up. She said the school covers the following, quad set up, diet & nutrition, starts, passing, jumps, whoops, braking, and turns. I am getting kind of pumped to go now. I just wish I was in a little better shape. If I go to the one in November I should be.
Nausty, you are going in July? Let me know how it goes for you. Are you going to be at CR Saturday? I think I will haul my quads down there and put a for sale sign on the ol'463.
