How Do you grind the welds off the header?

P.S. this is for a 300Ex

Pull the header off, get out the Dremel tool or die grinder and smooth out the ring (a bump of metal inside of the header) until it is near even with the actual pipe material.

Don't expect alot of gain though. IMO

i got to looking at mine when i pulled it off fot the 416 stuff, and the inside diamater of the weld is bigger than the inside diamater of the exhaust port on the head...

I agree Vegas I did the same thing and it looks pointless to grind

highly doubt it... if they did, it wasnt cause of that.
