If you are running the stock cam and a low compression piston you probably only make a few more hp than he does. Was this on dirt or grass?

alright ive asked this so many times but never gotten a straight answer. how much would it cost to have a 440 installed, cam, valve springs, and a port and polish job. and does the 440 add more top speed or just hp? thanks.

That price can vary SEVERAL hundred dollars depending on the builder. The parts will be much more than the labor but you may be able to get by for around $1200 for parts and labor. You got: $200-250 for sleeve/piston, $140-160 for cam, $120-140 HD valve springs, and $200-300 for port/polish head. You need to find a reputable builder that you trust to do the install at a price you can afford. If your on a small budget; get the bore and cam maybe do the HD springs and ported head later.
