I just got a set of elka front shocks with piggyback rezzies and I have marks on the bottom sides of the rezzies. It looks like the rezzies hit the a-arms. Has anyone else had this problem?

from freinds o mine i have heard nothing but bad experience with elka. My buddy bought some front elkas for his 300. Either the valving or springs were way off. They were way to soft, elka said to put a zip tie around the bottom of the shaft. Ater riding or 5 minutes, casually on the trails, they check the zip tie and the spings smashed it. so they sent back the shocks. The stockers worked better than the elkas. What the he!! is elka doing.

did your friend buy his elkas new or buy them off someone? its amazing how many people think that there used elkas are going to be set up perfectly for them, not the first guy.

I rode with rezzies at a race and had no probles with hitting them. i paid particular attention to them because i also noticed the marks.

hmm, my friend has a elka LT setup on his dale and the shocks are awesome, no problems at all...weird as it may sound he has to much travel with em, his frame hits before the shocks bottom

just send them back and get them built, he did give his weight and type of riding when he ordered them right?
