Lost key, What to do?

Ok, i lost my freakin key...how do ya get another one...does the dealer do the serial number deal?

just unplug the ignition.

then when u get a chance order a new one from service honda

I believe there is a number stamped real small on the key switch.. You can give a dealer the number and they should take care of ya. In the mean time..unplug the 4 wires that come from it and hotwire the mofo I guess..:ermm:

theres only 2 to a 300ex i took mine off when i got my renthals, i hotwired it, it took me 12 seconds

Rico is correct. There is a number stamped on the cylinder, just give it to your dealer and they can cut you a new key in about 2 minutes. Call them with the number and it will be ready when you get there.

mine came with 2 keys so i have a spare, you don't?:ermm:

The same exact thing happened to me about a month ago. Just pop the ignition outa the plastic by going in were the bars and stuff are and push it up no problem at all. Youll see a small set of numbers. Write the numbers on a piece of paper and show it to the dealer and say you lost your key. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TITLE or else the wonot make the key for you.
