Hey Im thinking about making my own aluminum airbox. I dont think it woudl be too tough, just some flat aluminum sheeting and cut it out, fold the edges and have somebody weld the sides up. My question is though, what thickness of aluminum should I use? If anybody has an aluminum airbox could you please tell me what thickness of aluminum it is made out of? Thanks.

.090 should be fine. maybe .125 for the mounting brakets

desertratt send THOSE STICKERS OUT! lol but u should make alum airboxes! if ya do dcide to make one i will buy one ASAP:macho
