I talked with the guy from Motowoz several times about getting a set for XC use. He was very honest and stated that he did not know a lot about xc racing but Gauranteed. That they would would be better than what I am on now. He also said he would work with anyone to make sure they are set up perfect for each person. At the time I didn't have the money to go with them even with the discount he offered me.

Those guys are great. You can contact Jim and yes he is a very honest person. He REALLY makes shocks for you acoording to your weight, racing style and preferences.
I am waiting for a set right now. I'll try to put it on +3.....we'll see

they are priced the same as any high end elka or comparable shock but your getting a much better shock. the amount of adjustability and how they react to changes is what makes them so great. Trust me talk to anyone who has them and you will not hear one bad thing and worth every penny spent.

Someone wrote that they are around 1600 which isnt higher than any other top shocks from Elka , Pep or Axis.

Id love to try them, Id be the only one to have them around here for sure.

www.450rhq.com has a lot of information about motowoz shocks.
So far I haven't seen any negative feedback either.

Long Travel
Remote Reservoir/VSV Technology Compression+Rebound Triple $1,285.00/pair

I not sure where you all got 1,600.00, but the price on their website www.motowoz.com isn't that high. Which is a good thing haha
